The treatment affects hair in the active growth phase (also referred to as the anagen stage). The laser beam is made up of precisely controlled pulses of energy that are absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair and reaches into the active hair follicles that lie beneath the skin. What Does Laser Hair Removal Feel Like?
